Partners
People who refer customers to your product in exchange for commissions.
A partner is a row in the partners table tied to one program. The same person can be a partner in multiple programs (across multiple workspaces) using the same email — they sign in once and see all their programs in their partner dashboard.
Partner statuses
pending— applied, waiting on your reviewapproved— link active, tracking accepted, eligible for payoutsrejected— application declined, no link issuedbanned— manually suspended (e.g. fraud)
How partners join
Two paths:
- Public apply page — they fill out your customizable form at
partli.app/apply/<ws>/<program> - Direct invite — you send them a token-based invitation from the Partners page; they accept and skip the application step
Approving partners
Open the Partners page in your workspace and click into a pending applicant. Hit Approve — we generate their referral link, send them a welcome email, and fire partner.approved on your webhook.
Auto-approve
autoApprove: true on a program to skip manual review. Useful for products that aren't selective about partners.Referral links
Each approved partner gets a referral link like partli.app/r/alex-x9k4. Visiting it triggers our click trackingand redirects to the program's destination URL.
Active-paid partners (your billing meter)
Your plan caps the number of active-paid partners per month — partners who actually received a payout that calendar month, summed across every workspace. Approved partners who didn't earn don't count.
